Sleepy sleepy

Hello everyone! This week went by pretty fast but wasn’t very eventful. We had Zone Conference and it was definitely interesting but it was good. We did some service at Salvation Army and I was soooooo exhausted. I fell asleep in the chair waiting for people to come pick up their food. We also had a lesson with Shalonda and it was really good because we haven’t been able to meet with her for a good 6 or 7 weeks. It was a 2.5 hour lesson because she’s quite the talker… I wish it was a little more spiritual but it was still a good lesson.

After Zone conference we went on exchanges and Elder Olsen and I were with Elder Thomas. We had a lesson with Alfred and it was pretty good. His grandbaby, (Kar-dea) is almost 13 months and he’s adorable. He loves throwing things and is always giggling. He reminds me of my nephew Beckham and makes me miss him even more.

We had another lesson with our friend who has been excommunicated and is trying to get back into the church. It was a good lesson but we started talking about movies made by the church and just good movies in general. We talked about 17 miracles, love Kennedy, etc. He then says, “heck, feel free to come over and watch them whenever you want.” Then proceeds to toss me a key. He literally gave me the spare key to his house. So now I carry the keys for our apartment, the house in Clarksville, and now an ex-com😂 it was pretty funny.

We got this self-referral from this guy and he wants us to call him everyday at 6:30 AM. Its been pretty exhausting haha but he’s super cool. He agreed to reading the book of Mormon! So we stopped by and had a good discussion and gave him a book of Mormon.

Lots of little things happened but nothing super important or special. I took a nap during lunch and put earplugs in. Apparently Elder Olsen and Elder DeSpain took two of these pop it type things. They look like little sticks of dynamite and you throw them on the ground like a pop it but it’s soooooooo much louder. They thought it would be funny to wake me up with one of those but because I had earplugs in I didn’t hear a thing and kept sleeping haha. They were pretty amazed.

Also we were told we had to clean out the Clarksville house since they’re selling it. So we had to have everything out by the end of the month. We stopped by yesterday to start taking out beds and desks and such. We open the door and its completely empty. Not one thing was there. Everything off the walls, all the furniture gone, literally everything. So we don’t know where any of it went… so that was quite the adventure driving 30 min for absolutely nothing.

Hopefully next week will be more eventful and spiritual as well. But until then I hope y’all had a great week. Muchos Besos! And remember, God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good!
